AFWA's Amphibian & Reptile Subcommittee submitted and received funding for a 2009 Competitive State Wildlife Grant that engaged five states directly--Missouri as the lead along with California, Georgia, Michigan and Nevada--and was supported and/or endorsed by an additional 15 states (Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, South Dakota, Texas, Utah and Wyoming).
As part of this grant, subcommittee members and partners undertook five projects in the areas of State Wildlife Action Plan Implementation and Capacity Building. Final reports and products will be posted as they become available.
