National Fish, Wildlife and Plants Climate Adaptation Strategy

The Association is partnering with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to create a National Fish, Wildlife and Plants Climate Adaptation Strategy.

This science-based Strategy will provide architectural blueprints for states, federal agencies and tribes to use in developing their own adaptation for reducing climate change impacts on fish, wildlife and their associated habitats.

A draft Strategy will be complete in 2011 and a final plan released in 2012.
